Hi, I’m Renée,
and I’m a branding and design mentor for soulful entrepreneurs who feel overwhelmed with marketing. I design authentic brand identities so that you can attract more clients and make a bigger impact.
I was once exactly where you are…
…meaning I get how heavy it can feel when you’re not in alignment with the brand you’ve worked so hard to build.
You see, I haven’t always been a branding and design specialist.
For as long as I can remember, creativity and the Arts have been my sanctuary.
Growing up, the Arts saved me from social anxiety and depression during some really tough times—my parents’ divorce, sibling and friendship tensions, a diagnosis of epilepsy, and even being kicked out of the house in my final year of high school, which landed me in foster care.
Creativity was my escape.
Whether singing, playing an instrument, drawing, or crafting, it helped me process and control the chaos around me. This passion followed me into my teaching career. In fact, only a few years ago, you may have found me in front of a classroom of 32 children, teaching them to read & write, or play the recorder & ukulele.
(Yes, that was me in 2000 leading my school choir!)
But in 2006, nervous exhaustion brought everything to a halt. That led me on a deep journey of self-discovery and transformation. I explored everything from personal development to yoga and relaxation techniques for children, to Sound Therapy and Virtual Assistant work for small businesses as alternatives to being stuck in a career that left me feeling unhappy & exhausted.
Thankfully, each experience shaped my entrepreneurial journey.
Eventually, I found myself dipping my toes back into the realm of creativity, but this time it was through the mediums of web and brand design.
But something still felt off. I couldn’t pinpoint what it was that left me feeling this way, so I shifted my audience and brand several times, always trying to fit into a mould that didn’t feel right.
After attracting one too many non-ideal clients, I took all of 2023 off from designing for new clients.
I thought I was burnt out.
I believed that being a designer wasn’t the way forward for me because I couldn’t see a path to building a sustainable business that truly reflected who I am at my core.
This downtime in 2023 offered me the opportunity to explore what I truly wanted to do (& be, but that’s a story for another time perhaps).
And that’s when I had a breakthrough!
I used all my experience & modalities I’d previously studied to create my own soulfully aligned brand—a brand that resonates with who I am and how I wish to show up in the world, both as a designer and as, well, ME!
Today, I’m bringing these experiences together to help soulful entrepreneurs build impactful brands so they can FEEL CONFIDENT AND ALIGNED WHILE COMMUNICATING THEIR ESSENCE AND VALUE TO THEIR IDEAL AUDIENCE.
